Terms of Service

The terms that apply to using this website. Your roofing contract is a separate signed document and these terms do not replace it.

Last updated: September 2026. These terms govern your use of flgulfroofing.com, operated by Florida Gulf Roofing LLC, holder of Florida DBPR certified roofing contractor license CCC1337243. By using the site you accept them.

What this website is

It describes the roofing services we offer and gives you ways to get in touch. It is informational. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, and submitting a form does not create a contract between us.

What this website is not

It is not roofing advice for your specific property. Roofs vary, and so do building codes, permitting jurisdictions and insurance policies across the counties we serve. General information here about materials, codes, permitting, the 25% rule, wind mitigation or insurance should not be relied on as a determination about your roof or your policy. Get an inspection, and speak to your own insurer about your own coverage.

Quotes, estimates and inspections

Our roof inspections are provided at no charge and carry no obligation on either side. Any quote or estimate we give you is based on what was visible and accessible at the time it was prepared. Conditions found once work begins — damaged decking beneath an existing roof being the common one — can change scope, and where that happens we will tell you before proceeding rather than after.

A quote is valid for the period stated on it. Where no period is stated, treat it as valid for 30 days, because material pricing moves.

Your roofing contract is separate

If you engage us, the work is governed by the written agreement you sign, together with the permit issued for the job and any documents Florida law requires us to give you. That agreement sets the scope, the price, the payment terms and any warranty. Where anything on this website appears to conflict with it, the signed agreement controls. Nothing on this page varies, limits or adds to it.

Permits and licensing

Re-roofing and significant repair work in the counties we serve requires a permit, which only a Florida DBPR-licensed contractor may obtain. We pull the permit for work we perform where one is required. You can verify our license with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation before engaging us, and we encourage it.

Contacting us and consent

If you submit a form and tick the consent box, you agree we may contact you by phone and text message at the number you gave us, including with an automated system, about your inquiry. You can withdraw that at any time — reply STOP to a text, or tell us on a call. Consent is not a condition of receiving a quote. How we handle what you send us is set out in our privacy policy.

Third-party links and content

This site links to third parties, including our Google Business Profile and our social media pages. We do not control those and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Customer reviews shown on this site are reproduced word for word from our Google Business Profile and are the opinions of the people who wrote them.

Photography and content

Text, photographs, logos and design on this site belong to Florida Gulf Roofing LLC or are used with permission. Do not reproduce them commercially without asking. Photographs of completed work show projects carried out by us; they illustrate the type of work described and are not a representation about any particular property.

Availability

We aim to keep this site available and accurate, and we do not guarantee either. It may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and information on it may become out of date between updates. Building codes and insurance requirements in Florida change, at times quickly.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent Florida law allows, Florida Gulf Roofing LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information published on it. This does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not affect your rights under a signed contract with us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts serving Sarasota County, Florida.
